MILLSAP – The Early Lady Horns concluded the first half of District 8-3A volleyball action with a straight-set defeat at the hands of Millsap, 25-9, 25-11, 25-13, Friday night.

Early (8-16, 1-6) received three kills from Dakota Barksdale, two from Gabby Leal and one from Stoney Laughlin.

Trinity Torrez dished out four assists while Saydi Vasquez served the lone ace.

Defensively, Gabby Leal finished with two digs while Laughlin, Barksdale, Leal and Averey Horton contributed one block apiece.

The Lady Horns are back in action at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday as they welcome Comanche to start the second half of league action, looking to halt a six-game skid.
