The Early Chamber of Commerce held its 3rd Annual KTAB Spring Swing Golf Tournament May 18 & 19 at The Hideout Golf Club.

Ten teams participated in this year’s event.  A silent auction was held displaying sports memorabilia from American classics and various items from AT&T.

Team Close Enough came in 1st place and won $1000.  The Close Enough Team members are James Russell, Jody Pate, Beau Edwards & Skyler Middleton.  The Ram Rod Team, Brady Penn, Nick Lyle, TJ Green and Bronson Shaw came in 2nd place for $750.  The F&M Bank Team, Jason Strickland, Lance Donathan, Norman Tinkler and Andy Green won $500 and came in 3rd place.

This year a special prize donated by American Classics which displayed The Three Stooges playing golf with a quote “Don’t quit your day job!” and was awarded to the AT&T Team, Jay Faulkner, Zach Estes, Tony Holcomb, and Ryan Holcomb.  Allen Strickland won the ball drop.

Organizers congratulate all the winners.  Mark your calendars for the 3rd weekend in May and plan to join Early Chamber of Commerce at the KTAB Spring Swing golf tournament again next year.
