Victory Life Academy recently held their commencement exercises with seven students graduating.
Top Graduates included Duncan McNeill, valedictorian and salutatorian, Melodi Waldrop.
McNeill is the son of Mark and Gayle McNeill. He plans to attend Texas A & M University in College Station, and will study Nuclear Engineering. While at VLA, McNeill was involved in football, basketball, track, theater, and competed in TAPPS Speech and Academic Competition at district and state level. McNeill competed recently at the TAPPS State Track Meet in discus.
Waldrop is the daughter of Steve and Margie Waldrop. She will be attending Howard Payne University majoring in nursing, a new degree offered at HPU. Waldrop was the Warrior Mascot during the 2012 football season and has also been involved in theater.
