Randall Henderson, age 75, of Brownwood passed away Monday, August 29, 2022, at a local nursing facility.

Celebration of Life for Randall will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Hetzel officiating; private interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Randall born on July 15, 1947, to Melvin and Hazel (Kaiser) Henderson in Brownwood. He graduated from Brownwood High School in 1965. After high school, Randall proudly served in the US Navy during Vietnam. He worked and retired from the Texas Department of Transportation after 20 plus years.

Randall loved writing and wrote a full novel, he also loved making Japanese swords, and collecting guns. He was a proud father and grandfather.

He is survived by his children Sara Brewer and husband Chris of New Braunfels, Sean Henderson and wife Monica of San Antonio, Brandy Halk and husband Greg of May; one grandson, Kaden Halk; and one brother, Darryl Henderson of Jarrell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Randall was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Henderson; and his parents, Melvin and Hazel.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to his caregiver, Falon Eisenhauer, Oakridge Manor, and Solaris Hospice for their compassion and care.
