Class of ’63 Dedicates Custom Bench to BHS

On Thursday, May 23rd, members of the Brownwood High School graduating class of 1963 reunited to dedicate a custom made bench to be placed in the enclosed atrium area at the high school.

The group organized the dedication primarily over Facebook, reaching classmates who no longer live in the area and coordinating the event that fell on the 50 year anniversary of their graduation from BHS.

An inscription on the top of the bench reads:

MAY 23, 2013

IN LOVING MEMORY

OF OUR CLASSMATES

“GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN”
