The following fishing reports are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the week of July 27

LAKE BROWNWOOD

Fishing is good.  Water slightly stained; 85-87 degrees; 5.56 feet low.  Fishing continues to be in the summer pattern.

Bass are good with catches up to five pounds on shaky heads and crankbaits in 10 feet of water.

Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs in 12-15 feet of water over brush piles and under lighted docks at night.

White bass are good on crankbaits and jigs under the lights at night, with some schooling action.

Catfish are good on cut bait, liver, and perch around baited holes.

LAKE CISCO

Fishing is GREAT.  Water stained; 85 degrees; 6.05 feet low.

The crappie are good, tearing up the minnows around 11:00 p.m.

Bass and perch bite throughout the day is best on worms.

Blue catfish are hitting on cut shad at night.

LAKE COLEMAN

Fishing is good.  Water slightly stained; 85-87 degrees; 4.26 feet low.

Crappie area good with jigs or minnows on brush piles.

Hybrid striped bass are good on imitation.  They are chasing bait fish all over the lake.

Bass are good with fish to six pounds on a green pumpkin jigs, black blue jigs, shad color swim jigs.

LAKE O.H. IVIE

Fishing is GREAT.  Water clear; 86 degrees; 20.14 feet low.

White bass are great with live bait and crankbaits.

Crappie great with jigs and minnows.

Largemouth bass are good.

Catfish are fair on prepared baits and live bait.

LAKE PROCTOR

Fishing is slow.  Water stained; 89 degrees; 5.54 feet low.

Black bass are slow.  Striped bass are good early in the morning with topwater lures.

Crappie are fair on minnows.

Catfish are good on cut shad.
