romeroAndrea Rene Romero, 37, of Arlington, Texas, peacefully ascended into Heaven on Sunday, April 21, 2013, surrounded by her family.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013, at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Pastor Stan Roberts of Victory Life Church will be officiating.

Andrea was born in Brownwood, Texas, on May 19, 1975. She graduated from Brownwood High School in 1993 and continued on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree from University of North Texas. Andrea’s passion was to help and teach others. She worked as a teacher for Grand Prairie ISD for 14 years, teaching various grades including Special Ed inclusion. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her beloved pet, Bentley, and rooting for her Dallas Mavericks basketball team.

Andrea is survived by her parents, Robert and Norma Romero of Arlington; brothers, Nick Romero of Arlington and Marcus Romero and wife Cynthia; nieces, Adriana and Jennifer of Brownwood; grandmother, Maria Antonia Garcia of Brownwood; her beloved pet, Bentley; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and friends.

Andrea is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Thomas H. Romero and Lorene T. Romero; and her maternal grandfather, Santiago Garcia.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the North Texas Chapter of The Lupus Foundation: 15660 North Dallas Parkway, Ste. 120 Dallas, Texas, 75248.
