During their meeting Monday morning, June 6, Brown County Commissioners Court voted to lift the Burn Ban for one week.  Citing recent rain and greener conditions, at least temporarily, the ban was lifted but will be reconsidered next Monday, June 13.  Commissioners urge everyone who needs to conduct a burn to be very careful and be mindful of the wind. Avoid burning during gusty wind. Commissioners will reconsider the Burn Ban when they meet again on Monday, June 13.
