EHSKeyClubTalesForTotsLogoEarly High School Key Club in coordination with the Brownwood Public Library will host Tales for Tots, a program aimed at increasing literacy in the community and will teach life lessons through interesting stories written by EHS Key Club members.

The event will be held at 11:30 AM on April 20th at the Brownwood Public Library and is open to children of all ages, especially those of primary school age.

Every child in attendance will get to listen to the top six stories written by Key Clubbers themselves, that each teach a valuable life lesson. Each child that attends will also receive a color copy of their favorite book along with a CD of audio recordings of every book presented that day.

Organizers state that his is a wonderful opportunity to allow our Key Clubbers to experience writing material aimed toward a specific audience, such as primary school children. This event gives members a chance of participating in making their goal of increasing the literacy rates among children in our communities, while teaching life lessons, a reality.

Tales for Tots is funded solely by the Kiwanis International Youth Opportunities Fund.

For more information or questions about the program, please contact Christopher Whited, Event Coordinator, by phone or email at:  (325) 203-3845 or email ChristopherWhited@att.net.
