A large crowd came to Brownwood High School Friday afternoon to send off the Lady Lions soccer team as they advance to the Region III – 4A Sectional round of the playoffs.

The Lady Lions will face Waco University Friday night at 7:00 PM in Copperas Cove.  The Lady Lions’ bus was escorted out by members of the Brownwood Fire Department and Heart of Texas EMS.

Friends, family and Brownwood Lady Lion fans lined Slayden Street in front of Brownwood High School holding signs of encouragement as the team left the school.

The team stands at a 16-5-1 record on the season.
