Terry Field

Terry Field, age 72, of Brownwood passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at a local nursing home surrounded by family.

Funeral Services for Terry will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2022, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Todd King officiating; burial will follow at Bangs Cemetery. There is no set visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Terry was born on November 16, 1949, to Bernace “Pat” Leon and Jessie Aileen (Beaird) Field in Brownwood. He was a 1968 graduate from Brownwood High School. Terry retired from Kohler after many years.

Terry attended High Mesa Cowboy Church. He loved fishing and being outdoors. He enjoyed watching any sports, but truly loved watching his grandchildren playing their sports.

Terry is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Rush and husband Preston of Bangs; his son, Kristin Field of Brownwood; 6 grandchildren: Colton Roberts, Caleb Blisard, Cheyenne Rush, Devin Eason, Nikki Lusk and husband Jared, and Austin Rush and wife Cherokee; 3 great-grandchildren: Madison Lusk, Cash Rush, and Paisley Rush; brother, Jimmy Field and wife Gloria of Brownwood; and 2 sisters, June Field and Sharon Slaymaker both of Brownwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Pat and Aileen Field; 1 sister, Janice Green; and 2 brothers, Ronnie Schell and Billy Field.
