With an estimated purse of $130,000 ($25,000 estimated for 1st place), the All Pro Tour Birdie’s By the Bayou returns to the Brownwood Country Club this coming week, April 20-23. Event will consist of 72-holes of stroke play (weather permitting). Round One will be played on April 20, Round Two April 21, Round Three April 22, Round Four April 23.  The field will be cut after 36 holes to the top 30% of the starting field. The Brownwood Country Club course will be closed April 19th until April 23rd at 3:00 pm for the APT. The field of players come from all across Texas but also from several other states and countries. APT graduate Scottie Scheffler recently became the world number one golfer on the PGA Tour. APT graduate Chad Ramey recently won his first PGA Tour title at the Corales Punctacana Championship.
