Tyler Golson

Tyler Golson, 37, of Coleman, died Tuesday, March 29, 2022 in Aransas Pass.  The family will host a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2022 at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan Street in Coleman.  Friends and family are invited to the funeral service at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Russell Cowan officiating.  Burial will be in the Burkett Cemetery.  Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.

Tyler Matthew Golson was born May 9, 1984 in Abilene to Tim Golson and Suzanne Young Golson.  Tyler grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School in 2002.  Tyler worked in the oil field as a derrick hand and did poly pipe installation.  In Aransas Pass, Tyler worked in construction.  On August 26, 2019, Tyler married the love of his life, Andrea Bowers.

Tyler was an avid outdoorsman.  He would go hunting and fishing every chance he could and go out on weekend camping trips.  Tyler loved his family and will be missed by all.

Preceding Tyler in death are his daughter, Hailey Jade Golson on May 20, 2011 and his grandparents, Joe and Hope Golson and Carter Young.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea Golson of Coleman; his son, Trigg Golson of Coleman; his parents, Tim and Suzanne Golson of Coleman; one brother and sister-in-law, Toby and Melinda Golson of Mansfield; one sister and brother-in-law, Lauren and Cody Brown of San Angelo and his grandmother, Mary Alice Young of Coleman.  Also surviving are his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mike and Mary Ann Bowers of Coleman and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
