The Brownwood High tennis team will be sending three entries to the Region I-4A tennis tournament, based on their efforts at the two-day District 6-4A tournament, which wrapped up Wednesday at Brownwood High School.

Victoria Ramos and Peter Le won the mixed doubles draw to earn a regional berth, while Trinity Sessoms and Tatum DeHart finished as runners-up in girls doubles, as did River Prado in boys singles, to advance.

Also Wednesday, Dillon Gatlin and Nathan Ramos defeated teammates Taylor Wallace and Taevion Nickerson for third place in boys doubles, but will not move on to the next round of competition.

The regional tournament is slated for April 13-14 at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
