As of 12:15 pm Sunday, Bangs and Santa Anna Volunteer Fire Departments were in route to the Bangs area for a new wildfire.  We’re told it is just off Highway 84, near County Road 140, which is near the Brown and Coleman County line, between Bangs and Santa Anna.

As of 12:40 pm Sunday, Brownwood Regional Airport showed Southeast wind at 17, gusting to 25 mph.  Humidity was 19%.  A Red Flag Warning is in effect until 9:00 pm tonight (Sunday) for dangerous fire weather conditions.

In addition, various fire departments were also responding to the Rising Star area for another wildfire.  We don’t have confirmation as of yet of the location.
