The 49^th Annual Brownwood Bass Club Open Tournament is slated for 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 3 at Lake Brownwood.

Guaranteed first place is $1,500 while other estimated prizes based on 140 entries include $785 for second place, $690 for third, $540 for fourth, $395 for fifth, $200 for sixth through 10^th, $125 for 11^th through 15^th, $75 for 16^th through 20^th, and $50 for 21^st through 25^th place.

There will also be $100 awarded to 48^th place and $100 for the smallest stringer weight.

All contestants must check in between noon and 7 p.m. Saturday, April 2 or 5 to 6 a.m. Sunday, April 3. Headquarters and weigh-in will be at the Lake Brownwood dam spillway. The weigh-in line opens at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3.

Contestants can up sign up for one division, either Open ($50), Women ($25), and Juniors ($20). Women and juniors have the option of entering the big bass contest for an extra $5 each.
