The Brownwood Art Association will host their “First Thursday” event on March 7th, from 5-8pm which will feature digital art and sculptures.

This month’s featured artists are digital artist Christopher Gaston and sculptor Gary Cowden.

Gaston works with Photoshop, taking photography to the next level.  One of his most recent works was entered in the 2013 Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit and was an award winner.

Cowden’s sculptures transform wood to show the beauty within.  He too is an artist whose work was featured in the Stars exhibit this year as well as in many other art shows around the state.

“First Thursdays” are the perfect way to explore creativity and let the public enjoy art.
