The American Southwest Conference today announced the 2022 ASC Women’s Basketball All-Conference Teams and Howard Payne University’s Bria Neal and Salina Ali were recognized on this year’s lists.
Bria Neal – Second Team All-Conference
Second in the ASC in scoring, Bria Neal averaged 17.6 points per game while finishing third in the league in rebounding at 8.0 per game. Her 6.5 offensive rebounds per game was best in the ASC. Bria Neal was named ASC Player of the Week once this season and scored a career high 29 points at Belhaven and grabbed a career high 17 rebounds at Austin College.
Salina Ali – HM All-Conference
Leading the ASC in steals, Salina Ali averaged 2.8 steals per game and finished third in the league in assists at 3.7 per game. She recorded season high in assists versus LeTourneau with seven and in steals versus McMurry with seven.
