The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 4th Annual Professional Women’s Summit, presented by Brownwood Municipal Develop District, on March 24th at the Brownwood Lyric Theatre. On March 24th, doors open at 8:30 am with programs running from 9 am – 3 p.m. Registration is open on BrownwoodChamber.org.

A new feature of this year’s event is the presentation of the Bettie Girling Distinguished Woman Award presented by Texas-Clean Inc. Bettie Girling was an incredible woman who blessed many lives with her strength, wisdom and giving spirit. Criteria for nomination include a woman that lives in Brown County, someone who is natural leader, someone who supports community service projects, and a woman who has served as a mentor for other women in the community.
