Janice Logsdon Dent went to be with her heavenly father on Saturday February 5th in her home in Abilene. Janice was born September 8th, 1946 to Joe and Helen Fuller Logsdon in Sweetwater.

She married the love of her life Howard Dent in May 1975, in Sweetwater. Together they raised four boys that remained the light of her life. She was a homemaker and Insurance professional and enjoyed traveling and making new friends. Janice loved animals, playing bingo and shopping for treasures with her beloved daughter in law Patty.

She is survived by her four children, Bob and Karen Dent of Atlanta, Georgia, Mark and Tracy Dent of Brownwood, Mike and Porsha Dent of Abilene,  Lee and Patty Dent also of Abilene, 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, a sister Billie Conaster of Elkhart, Texas, cousin Sharon Burdick of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.   She was preceded in death by her Parents Joe and Helen Logsdon, her husband Howard Dent, a daughter Carol Logsdon, and two sisters Darlene and Betty.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
