Roger Camp

CampRogerGraveside services for Roger Camp, 64, of Brownwood , will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, February 17, in the Jones Chapel Cemetery with Mikey Wayne Isbell officiating. Interment will follow, under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home and Cremations. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Saturday, February 16, at the funeral home.

Mr. Camp passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center with loved ones by his side.

Roger Glynn Camp was born on October 22, 1948, in Wichita Falls Texas to Roy Lynn Camp and Glynn Ocie Westerman Camp. He lived most of his life in Brownwood and worked as paint and body man and a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Anita Bishop Camp, of Brownwood; five sons, Charles Camp and wife Heather, of Madison NC, Roger Camp of Bangs, Glynn Camp of Teague and P.J. Camp and Justin Bergman, both of Brownwood; three daughters, Robin Camp of Washington D.C. and Amber Cisneroz and husband Jose and Brandi McDaniel, both of Brownwood. He is also survived by two brothers, Charles Camp and Danny Camp, both of Brownwood and four sisters, Cornella McDorman of Gainesville, Mary Straach and husband, Gary, of Dallas, Ginger Camp of Sanger and Karen Doan of Bryan. He also leaves behind 22 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren with one on the way, and special friend Julie Allgood Long, as well as his special four legged child, Mallie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lynn and Glynn Ocie Camp and one brother, Royce Camp.

The family request that if desired, in lieu of flowers, donations for help with funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
