WeddingGirlcroppedFuture brides will get the chance to plan their complete wedding this Saturday at the Brownwood Area Bridal Fair being held at the Lehnis Railroad Museum from 10 AM – 2 PM.

The fair will be an invaluable resource for soon-to-be brides in planning their special day.  Vendors will showcase their products and services and will be available with tips, techniques, and ideas for the perfect wedding.  A style show will feature some of the latest looks in wedding attire for the entire family.

“Brides will be able to finalize all of the plans for her wedding in one spot,” said organizer Sunni Modawell. “There will be photographers, florists, caterers, DJs, party rental, and venues represented at the fair as well as a great style show.”

The bridal fair provides an opportunity for future brides to meet face to face with businesses that can assist in planning the big day, all in one location, saving time and gas.  Door prize drawings will be taking place throughout the day as well.

Modawell said that there will giveaways every hour from the vendors and Grand Prize giveaways at the end of the day with Texas Rangers baseball game tickets being one of them.

This is the first year since 2006 that the Brownwood Chamber has organized a bridal fair, and the response for the fair has been positive according to Modawell.

“We have over 20 vendors and we have had to turn people away,” she said.  “We were not expecting such a huge response this first year with such a variety of vendors.”

Future husbands are also welcome to attend and enjoy the “man cave” if they need a break from wedding planning.

The Brownwood Area Bridal Fair will take place from 10 AM – 2 PM on Saturday February 16th at the Lehnis Railroad Museum. Two style shows will also be featured, one at 11 AM and the other at 1 PM. Admission to the show is free.  The bridal fair is sponsored by Green Acres – IRent, the Lehnis Railroad Museum, and the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce.

Brides are encouraged to preregister at brownwoodchamber.org or by calling 325-646-9535.
