New-Day_BangsFBCConcert2013On Saturday, January 26, Central Texas Gospel Sing and First Baptist Church of Bangs will begin their 14th year of bringing Southern Gospel music to the Brown County area by presenting their quarterly concert.  The event will be at First Baptist Church of Bangs and will begin at 6 PM.   Admission is free with a love offering taken.

Featured group will be New Day from Fate, Texas.

“When I Can’t Even Dream – God’s Already Planned!” The words of that song effortlessly describe New Day, a Texas based trio consisting of husband and wife teams Bob & Pam Reeves and Jim & Kelley Matthews. The histories of each vocalist are strikingly similar and have much in common.

“New Day is a very powerful and anointed vocal ministry and have proven this with their latest recording, ‘Faith Like That,’” say organizers.  “Their music bridges, and breaks down, the many generational gaps and barriers that can be seen in many local churches today.”

Other local Southern Gospel artists will also be featured on the program.

For more information contact Emmett Mathews at 325-752-7234.
