One man was taken by Lifeguard EMS from the scene of an accident involving a motorcycle and pickup.  The crash was reported at about 8:30 am Wednesday, November 17, on Highway 279 at Lake Brownwood, near the intersection of CR 602, down the road from Big G’s.  The motorcycle appeared to have struck the right rear of a Ram 1500 pickup.  The motorcycle ended up on the west side of Highway 279 and those in the pickup remained at the scene.  The cyclist was alert but suffering from unknown injuries.  The Texas Department of Public Safety was investigating.  Lake Bridge Volunteer Fire Department and Brown County Sheriff’s Department also assisted.
