Dale Timmons, residing in Comanche, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 14, 2021.

Dale was born on December 29, 1944 in Ysleta, Texas to Jake Valentine Timmons and Dexter Oda (Lane). On November 25, 1967, he was united in marriage to Nancy Loucill Cook in Goldsmith. She preceded him in death on September 26, 2020.

Dale was a member of the Full Gospel Church of Comanche and the First Baptist Church of Goldsmith, a lifetime Masonic Lodge member, a welder, and heavy equipment operator. He was an avid fisherman, ran track in high school, and would give you anything he had if you needed it. He was a social butterfly, but stubborn and was always in a hurry to get things done. Dale was a hard worker who always had a garden and shared vegetables with everyone. He was a big John Wayne fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys. He loved being around family and friends and was dedicated to his loving wife, Nancy, for 53 years of marriage.

He is survived by his son, Jonnie Dale Timmons; daughter, Tonya Timmons-Pickett; and who he considered a son, John Buckle; three granddaughters, Bridgette Sprabary, Brianna McDowell, Nancy Marie Timmons; three grandsons, Brennon O’Shea McDowell, Jacob Timmons, Michal Sprabary; four great-grandchildren, Kimberley, Taylor, Ranger, Trenton; two sisters, Mavis Feist, Claudine Hutchins; three sisters-in-law, Pearline Halsell, Betty Brown, Carol Cook; brother-in-law, Lynn Cook; 10 nephews, Neil Feist, Dendy Feist, Kelly Feist, Grady Hutchins, Wesley Timmons, Steven Brown, Jimmy Brown, Gene Woodson, Brian Halsell, Laramie Cook; 7 nieces, Cathy Drewes, Denna Enriquez, Kayci Mitchell, Dusty Cook, Kelli Halsell, Tammie Funderburgh, Emma Huston; 7 grandpups; and one grandcat.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Dexter Timmons; brothers, Gale and Gary Timmons; Parents-in-law, Henry and Sue Cook; brother-in-law, Kenneth Feist; and best dog friend, Buddy.

Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Everyone is invited to attend the regular morning services at The Full Gospel Church, 700 East Oak St. Comanche, Texas, at 10:30 A.M. on Sundays. Lunch will be served for friends and family of Dale after the morning service on October 17, 2021 at 12:00 PM.

If desired, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, P.O. Box 1525, Ranson, VA 25438.

Graveside Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Downing Cemetery with Timothy Martin officiating. Condolences may be offered online at www.comanchefh.com.
