At 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, the Brown County Water Improvement District Board of Directors will hold a dedication of an emergency use helipad at its Lake Patrol site at Lake Brownwood, located at 550 Spillway Road.

This site will be dedicated as an improved site with concrete pad, markings, and lighting for landing even in adverse weather conditions.

The Brown County Water Improvement District Board of Directors believes this will be a great asset to Lake Brownwood and the surrounding community
