In the last seven days, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 109 positive COVID-19 test results. Of the 109 positives this week, 57 were PCR, and 52 were antigen. Of the total number of cases reported this week, 6 cases met the breakthrough definition. This includes asymptomatic, mild symptoms, and severe symptom breakthrough cases. There are 14 people currently hospitalized in Brown County for COVID-19. Four new deaths have been reported: one female in her 40s, two males in their 50s, and one male in his 60s – none from a nursing facility.
