Vicky Jane Robertson

Vicky Robertson, age 76, of Brownwood passed away Friday, September 24, 2021, at a local nursing facility.

Graveside Services for Vicky will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2021, at Greenleaf Cemetery with Pastor Kelly Crenshaw officiating. There is no set visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Vicky was born on October 7, 1944, to Lloyd and Christene (Walters) Humphries in Brownwood. She married Otto Robertson on May 23, 1959; the two were married for 53 years until his passing on May 24, 2012.

She was a licensed beautician and was an instructor for many years at Ranger Beauty College. Vicky was also a very skilled taxidermist and artist. She loved to go play Bingo.

Vicky was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind. She is survived by her 6 children, Ben Robertson and wife Gloria of Early, Christina Sharp of Brownwood, Lynn Robertson and wife Judy of Brownwood, Marquita Phelps of Brownwood, Marty Robertson of Brownwood, and Joseph Dennison of Brownwood; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Thomas of Glen Rose; and brother, Dusty Humphries and wife Sharon of Bangs. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and her friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Robertson; a beloved son, Almer Robertson; her parents, Lloyd and Christene Humphries; 2 sisters, Sandra Thompson and Mona Nix; and son-in-law, Richard Sharp.
