Camilla Reed

Camilla Reed, age 82, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021, in Hamilton, Texas.

She was born on May 1, 1939, in Gorman, Texas, to Thomas Earl and Le Ruth (Johnston) Kelley. Camilla was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and was known to her family as “Mema”. For many years she worked as a seamstress, and later went to work in the Gustine School Cafeteria, where she enjoyed interacting with the children.

She is survived by three children: Rocky Adcock and wife Natrell, Twila Stark and James Adcock, and Kelley Adcock and wife Deb; grandchildren: Anisha Philips and husband Kevin, Noah Stark, Lee Adcock and wife Jaymie, Scott Adcock, Desi Floyd and wife Robbye, Shanda Young and husband Justin, Lane Troutt, Lacey Troutt, and Jerrod Adcock and wife Lea; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Le Ruth Kelley; son, Larry Don Troutt; and grandson, Glynn Adcock.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
