Claudia Jane Harding, age 69 of Blanket passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021. A graveside service will be 10:00 am, Monday, September 20th at Rock Church Cemetery.
Claudia was born Thursday, June 19, 1952 in Brownwood, Texas to Claude and Dorothy Godfrey. She graduated from Blanket High School. Claudia married Robert Odell Harding on July 7, 1972 and began a life together that blessed them with 4 children. She loved her hummingbirds and her ivy plants. Claudia enjoyed her time sitting around putting puzzles together with her family, and playing cards with friends. She enjoyed going to Robby’s taxidermy shop and seeing all the mounts and visiting with any customer that was there at the time. Claudia loved making baby blankets for all of her grandkids and great grands. It didn’t matter if she was working or where she was, she was always making sure everybody’s eyeglasses were comfortable.
Claudia is survived by her husband Robert Odell Harding of Blanket; 3 sons, Robby Harding and wife Connie of Rising Star, Brad Harding and wife Carrie of Rising Star; Jason Harding and wife Mariah of Monahans; daughter Heather Fowler and husband Jeff Watson of Early; father Claude Godfrey of Blanket; brothers, Grant Godfrey and wife Reca of Blanket, Norman Godfrey and wife Loretta of Blanket; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grands with 1 baby girl on the way.
She is preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Godfrey; brother David Godfrey; and nephew Shawn Godfrey.
