The Howard Payne University volleyball team lost 3-0 to No. 10 University of Mary-Hardin Baylor Tuesday evening in the Brownwood Coliseum.

The Lady Jackets lost in three straight sets to the Cru by scores of  25-11, 25-14, and 25-12.

Mya Ross and Mitsue Rodriguez led Howard Payne with eight kills each. Riley Brittain had 18 assists, and Sydney Sullivan had ten digs.

Kylie Metcalf and Hannah Fresca had seven kills for UMHB.

The Lady Jackets fall to 1-5 on the season and 0-2 in conference play. They will play East Texas Baptist on Friday, Sept. 17th at 6:00 PM in Marshall, Texas.
