Treldon Cutbirth, age 87, of Brownwood passed away Friday, September 10, 2021.

Graveside Services for Treldon will be held at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Eastlawn Memorial Park. There is no set visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Treldon was born on June 11, 1934, to Sam T. and Ollie Mae (Tippen) Cutbirth in Houston, Texas. He lived his teenage years on the Pierce Ranch near Wharton, Texas. He graduated from Wharton High School in 1952, then went on to graduate from Baylor University in 1957. After Baylor, he joined the United States Navy Officer Candidate School for a short time.

After the Navy, Treldon went back to doing what he knew best, farming and ranching, up until he passed. Treldon married Minnie McDaniel in August of 1982. He loved playing golf, being outdoors, hunting, and camping.

Treldon is survived by his wife of 39 years, Minnie Cutbirth of Brownwood; 3 children, Christy Stovall and husband David of El Campo, TX, Kyle Cutbirth and wife Jama of Brownwood, Laurie Fossati and husband Christopher of Houston; 2 stepsons, Scott McDaniel and wife Pam of Brownwood, Lance McDaniel and wife Terry of Quinlan, TX; grandchildren: Beau Cutbirth and wife Tess, Shylah Isom and husband Austin, Kylie Allen, Casey Westell, Christopher Westell, Weston Stovall, Victoria Fossati, Gregory Fossati, DeAndray McDaniel and wife Bethany, Bryant McDaniel, Brittney Perez and husband Jason, Randy Chism, Alexandria Siller, Tyler McDaniel and wife Aneris; several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Ollie Mae Cutbirth; brother, Seale T. Cutbirth and his wife Betty Sue; and one nephew, Brian Cutbirth.
