Chuck Martin, age 79, of Santa Anna, Texas lost his battle with cancer on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:38 am at his residence north of Santa Anna surrounded by his family.

A memorial service will be set at a later date. Services  are under the care and direction of Henderson Funeral Home Staff.

Chuck was born January 21, 1942 at Nida, Oklahoma to William Elexander and Gladys Colbert Martin.  He was raised in Pearson, Oklahoma where he graduated from High School.  In July of 1963 Chuck married Beverly Coral Pearson in Big Spring, Texas and they celebrated 55 years of marriage.  Beverly preceded him in death in 2018.  He was an oilfield supervisor for Fina Pipeline until his retirement.

Chuck as an outdoorsman enjoyed hunting and fishing and the feel of the earth as a gardener.  He also loved playing with and enjoying his grandchildren.

Survivors include Son – Rick and wife Mandy Martin of Santa Anna, Texas; 2 Granddaughters – Kailyne Martin & Maiya Denson; Grandson – James Denson; and Great-Grandson – Kole Martin.
