The Early High School Choral Department will present the stage musical production of “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” beginning Saturday for a three show run.

Advance tickets for the production are currently on sale for $10 and may be purchased at the Early High School main office.  Tickets at the door will cost $12.50.  There are three performances scheduled for the musical which include:

Saturday, Nov. 10 – 8 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 11 – 2:30 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 12 – 7:30 p.m.

Director of the musical Judy Reed said that a cast and crew totaling 44 students, teachers, and parents are involved with the show.   Dress rehearsals continue this week before the opening of the show this weekend.

“Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” is a musical based on the 1954 Stanley Donen film of the same name which is, itself, an adaption of the short story “The Sobbin’ Women,” by Stephen Vincent Benét.
