pfeiferLois Marie Propst Pfeifer, age 90 of Brownwood, passed away October 25, 2012 at a local nursing home. She was born in Grand Prairie, Texas on July 27, 1922 to Ralph King and Ruby Mae Hannan King. Mrs. Pfeifer was raised in Stamford, Texas and also lived many years in Anson and Abilene before moving to Brownwood in 2007. She spent her last few years at Oakridge Manor.She was a long time member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Pfeifer is survived by a sister, Lu Jean Albritton of Oregon, as well as her sons Mike Beach and wife Pat of Missouri, John A. Propst of Brownwood, Lee Alan Propst and wife Lisa of Clyde, and daughter LuAnn Bradshaw and husband Roy of Flower Mound. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Numerous nephews and nieces and other relations also survive Mrs. Pfeifer.

She was preceded in death by her son, Art Propst, husband Walter Pfeifer, a great-grandson Benjamin Moore and numerous brothers and sisters.

Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, October 29 in the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel of Brownwood, with Perry Reeves officiating. Interment will follow in Jenkins Springs Cemetery. Family visitation will be 3-5 PM Sunday afternoon at Blaylock Funeral Home. The family requests that memorials be made in Mrs. Pfeifer’s name to The Pecan Valley Domestic Violence Shelter, POB 1202, Brownwood, Tx
