Jones finished the 36-hole tournament with a 1-under par total of 143, firing a first round 70 followed by a second-round 73.
Jones won the event by four strokes, easily outdistancing runner-up Daichi Molde of Henderson, Nevada.
As a freshman at Brownwood High School, Jones advanced to the Region I-4A golf tournament in Lubbock this past April, where he came in 32nd place with a two-round total score of 160.
