Brownwood Middle School Basketball Report

brownwoodlionslogoSeveral Brownwood Middle School boys basketball teams played against Breckenridge on Monday with some mixed results.

The 8th grade boys “B” team won their game with a score of 33-32.

Scorers for the Cubs were Justin Osteen – 10 points, Kye Healer – 6 points, Colby Lohse – 6 points, Danny Romero – 2 points, Morgan Lemmons – 2 points, Dylan Person – 2 points, Conner Vara – 1 point, Cody Gonzales – 1 point.

The 8th grade “A” did not fare as well losing to Breckenridge 15-30.

Brownwood scorers included Josh Soto – 4 points, Bryan Johnson – 4 points, Elijah Salazar – 3 points, Kyle Steele – 2 points, and Seth Owen – 2 points.

The 7th grade “B” team brought a win in their game with a final score of 23-18.

Scoring players included Raislan Ibarra – 8 points, Brain Makuta – 8 points, Daniel Zilinski – 2 points, and Kalin Young – 5 points.

The 7th grade “A” team dropped their game 29-42.

Point gainers were Cody Richardson – 7 points, Edward Duque – 6 points, Matt Merket – 6 points, Trent Carlton – 4 points, Justin Gomez – 3 points, and Tyler Jackson – 2 points.
