Clyde Earl Browning, age 85, of Brownwood, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021. A memorial service for Clyde will be held at Salt Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM.

Clyde Earl was born December 5, 1935, in Ft. Worth to Clarence Earl Browning and Susie Pearl (Seaborn) Browning. He graduated in the class of 1954 at Polytechnic Highschool in Ft. Worth.

Clyde Earl served 6 years in the U.S. Navy and received an honorable discharge. He was employed as a structural steel draftsman and estimator for Wichita Industrial in Ft. Worth. In 1966, he began working for Ray Steel company where he worked for the next 17 years. His last employer was M.M.W. Industries where he worked from 1983 to 1999 when he retired. Clyde Earl was member of Salt Creek Baptist Church in Early where he loved serving our Lord in many different capacities.

Clyde Earl is survived by his sister, Peggy Sue Browning Hill of Brownwood. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Norman Leon Browning, Edward Norris Browning, and Franch Liston Browning; and 2 sisters, Letha May Hunt and Ima Ouita Waters.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Salt Creek Baptist Church Youth Fund, or a charity of your choice.
