Five sentenced in 35th District Court

The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Monday regarding felony cases heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith:

  • Forrist Lee Pierce pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Jessica Walton, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, was adjudicated and sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Walton, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, was adjudicated and sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Division.
  • Zoe Dawn Thomas, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, was adjudicated and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Thomas pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Robert William Phillips Jr., on probation for the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, was revoked and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Joshua Hamlett, on probation for the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, was adjudicated and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
