AUSTIN – The Howard Payne University women’s golf competed at the Linda Lowery Invitational hosted by Concordia University Texas.

Madison McGarrh led the Lady Jackets, shooting a career-low 81 to open the tournament. McGarrh had a career-best finish T-7 shooting 162 (81-81).

Mallory Garcia shot 172 (84-88) to take 18th place. Bailey Farmer followed, shooting 181 (91-89) to finish solo 20th.

The Lady Jackets will compete next on April 12 -13 at the Berry Creek Country Club, a tournament hosted by Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.
