A Brownwood man died Monday morning, March 29, after a vehicle he was working underneath, fell on him.

According to Lt. Troy Carroll of the Brownwood Police Department, police received the call at 7:32 a.m. in the 2000 block of Avenue I. They arrived to find a vehicle on top of local resident Ronald Romero, 36.  He was pronounced deceased by a Justice of the Peace.  No foul play is suspected, Carroll said.  Romero was replacing some suspension parts on the vehicle when the accident occurred.
