County reports 10 COVID deaths, total at 115

On Thursday, Feb. 4, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 39 positive COVID-19 test results, 1 negative, and 190 recoveries. Of the 39 positives, 2 were PCR, and 37 were antigen. There are currently 11 hospitalized in Brown County. Ten deaths were reported, none from nursing facilities: one female in her 50s, one female in her 60s, one female in her 70s, one male in his 50s, one male in his 60s, three males in their 70s, and two males in their 80s. 

COVID-19 Vaccinations:
Brown County currently shows 1,634 people vaccinated with 1st doses, 558 people vaccinated with both doses.  31,586 is the estimated for vaccination.

Weekly Case Count Update:
Brown County ended the week (1/29/2021) with an addition of 184 new cases from the previous week.

Upcoming Free Mobile COVID-19 Test Dates: 
Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) COVID-19 mobile testing team will continue Monday, February 8th, through Friday, February 12th from 10 am to 4 pm at Gordon Wood Stadium located at 3206 Milam Drive.
