The City of Brownwood posted the following on its Facebook page Thursday afternoon:

Kevin Dearing has retired from the City of Brownwood after serving for 35 years! Kevin worked in the Community Facilities department for 17 of those years. Kevin was extremely dedicated to the Coliseum, taking great pride and care of the building to better serve the community’s needs. We wish him all the very best as he enjoys a well-earned retirement! Thank you Kevin!
