A three vehicle accident in the 400 block of W. Commerce near the entrance to Wal-Mart sent one person to the hospital Sunday afternoon.

Around 2:05pm, a motorcycle, an SUV and a pickup were involved in the accident, resulting in one person being transported to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room.  The extent of injuries was unknown at the time of the accident.

The three vehicles were westbound in the same lane, the motorcycle between the SUV and the pickup, at the time of the crash.  The motorcycle was removed from the scene by flatbed tow-truck.

Brownwood Fire Department, Brownwood Police Department and Guardian EMS responded to the accident scene.
