Rogelio ‘Roger’ Guerrero Sr., 63 (Santa Anna)

Rogelio ‘Roger’ Guerrero, Sr., age 63, of Santa Anna, Texas passed on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 12:10 pm at the Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas.

Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Santa Anna Cemetery Pavilion with Matt Briggs officiating.  Interment will follow with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna.  Rosary will be recited Monday at 5:30 pm with Margie Mitchell officiating with visitation following at 6:00 till 7:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home.

He was born Rogelio Ortiz Guerrero on June 7, 1957 in Coleman County, Texas to Primitivo and Catarina Ortiz Guerrero.  Roger was raised in Coleman County where he attended the Mozelle Schools.  He was married to Graciela Camacho and served our country in the United States Army.

Roger was a resident of Santa Anna for fifty years and a member of the non-denominational church.  He loved spending time with his family at barbeque gatherings and playing pool.  Roger was a farmer taking care of the land and crops.

Survivors include 3 daughters – Rachael Jean Guerrero, Rene Guerrero Newton, Elena Rendon; 7 sons – Roger Guerrero, Jr., Ruben Guerrero, Ignacio Guerrero, Ramiro Jesus Guerrero, Ryan & wife Misty Guerrero, Bobby Guerrero & Matthew Guerrero; mother – Catarino Guerrero; 9 sisters; 2 brothers; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.


Roger was preceded in death by his father Primitivo Guerrero & 3 brothers.
