Both the Lions and Lady Lions basketball teams were on the road Tuesday as they faced Jim Ned, but things did not go their way.

The Lions took their second straight loss with a final score of 73-45 taking them to a 0-2 record.

Scorers for the team were Marquos Barnes – 14 points, Greg Jefferson – 14 points, Chris Cotton – 7 points, Luke Chastain – 4 points, Michael Ballejo – 3 points, and Graylon Brown – 1 point.

The Lions will travel to Ballinger for an upcoming tournament Thursday – Saturday with times to be announced.

The Lady Lions break their winning streak dropping their game against Jim Ned 64-50.  They now go to a 3-3 record on the season.

Scorers for the game were Patricia Wilson – 16 points, Kelsey Gober – 14 points, Mallorie Maxwell – 6 points, Amanda Gober – 6 points, Sara Byrd – 4 points,  and Trinity Ansons – 4 points.

The Lady Lions will also be participating in the upcoming tournament in Ballinger.
