Thomas McMillan, Sr. age 76 of Coleman, Texas passed from this life on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 9:14 am at Coleman County Medical Center.

Services will be Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Santa Anna Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Jeff Dean officiating.  Interment will follow at the Santa Anna Cemetery with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Coleman.  The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday from 5:00 till 6:30 pm at Henderson Funeral Home.

He was born Thomas Wayne McMillan on January 18, 1944 to Larmon Loyd and Clydamae Frazee McMillan in San Antonio, Texas. Tommy was raised in Cross Plains graduating from Cross Plains High School in 1965.  On July 31, 1965 he married Katherine Janette Ohlhausen in Bangs, Texas and they celebrated 54 years of marriage.  Kathy preceded him in death in 2020.

 Tommy was a resident of Coleman for many years where he was a cosmetologist with Margie Beauty Salon and Jimmie’s Beauty Station, also owning Tommy’s Beauty Curl in the mid 80’s.  He was a member of the Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the Lake Brownwood Lions.   Tommy was a resident of Cross Plains since 2010. He loved playing Bingo with his wife Kathy.

Survivors include daughter – Krystal Chavez of Bedford, TX; 2 sons – Thomas Wayne, Jr & wife Toni McMillan of Early, TX

Todd & wife Sherry McMillan of Santa Anna, TX; 2 granddaughters – Heather & husband Forrest Walker, of Bridgeport, TX

Sidney Becktold of Early, TX; 4 grandsons – Kenneth & wife Kianna McMillan of Sweetwater, TX Chris & wife Laci McMillan of Cross Plains, TX, Chase McMillan of Rio Rancho, NM, Dustin Becktold of Brownwood, TX; and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.

The family requests memorials made to Santa Anna Cemetery Association or to their favorite charity.
