In session Monday morning, January 4, Brown County Commissioners voted to temporarily lift the Burn Ban in Brown County.  It was noted that, while there is still plenty of “fuel” or tender vegetation, there is also a need for county residents to dispose of tree limbs damaged in the weekend ice/snow storm.  If you intend to conduct a burn, Commissioners urge you to call your local fire department or fire dispatch first to let them know.  Commissioners will review the burn ban in their meeting next Monday, January 11.
