Brown County was recently recognized by the Texas Transportation Commission recognizing Brown County for having ZERO traffic fatalities in the year 2019. This is part of the End the Streak TxDOT campaign. The Road to Zero goal is to reduce traffic fatalities by one half by the year 2035.
Brown County received the End the Streak Texas Trailblazer Recognition certificate for being one of only 20 counties in the State of Texas to achieve this goal in 2019.
