The Brown County Sheriff’s posted the following on Facebook Monday morning about a recent scam:

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office would like to make the citizens of Brown County aware of a scam that has recently been reported to us. This scam is using fraudulent US postal money orders. The letter states United Research is welcoming you to their team of SURVEY ANALYST / STORE EVALUATOR. Attached with this post is the letter received in the mail. We would like to remind everyone if it seems too good to be true then it probably is. If you receive a letter and are uncertain we would urge you to call and have a Deputy look at it prior to money exchanging hands.
